Unfortunately, there are many Bull Terriers out there that need loving , caring homes. People willing to take the time to train, socialize & commit themselves to owning a Bull Terrier are needed.

Living in New England, most of the Rescues we see are coming out of New York & Boston. Some are from Pet Stores, some are from people who bought a Bull Terrier from irresponsible, greed driven people not willing to take back the Bull Terrier, who has developed severe Health and Temperament issues. Some are imports from outside the USA with no regard for Health Testing for the Sire and Dam. Some of these dogs are not AKC registered or promises that they CAN be registered which never come to fruition.

Regardless of the situation, most Rescue Bullies are grateful to have a family to call their own and being spoiled rotten.

In the meanwhile, Rescue volunteers continue to mop up the mess and comfort dogs who can't understand what they've done wrong to be abandoned.
I would however like to thank the lovely people at ARL for taking really good care of Rosie, and for contacting BTCNE Rescue to foster and place her. There are good, kind people out there.
