Charlie and I acquired our first Bull Terrier, Chief, in 2003. Our second Bull Terrier, Chloie, came to us in 2004. Although new to Bull Terriers, we are not new to the Bull & Terrier breeds. Having owned Am Staffs & American Pit Bull Terriers for almost 20 years, amongst other breeds like Labs, Golden Retriever, Chihuahuas, Alaskan Malamute, Siberian Husky, Dachshunds, Wire Fox Terriers, Doberman, Beagle & a couple of Heinz 57's thrown in for good measure spanning 40 + plus years of growing up. That's each, not combined for the two of us :) We are well versed in canines & canine behavior. OR SO WE THOUGHT! Until the day we came home with our first Bull Terrier.
Let's suffice it to say that Bull Terriers do not live to please their human counterparts, they live to please only THEMSELVES. More info will be forthcoming on the Training page & how Clicker Training opened up a whole new world for us :)
For the last couple of years, we have been traveling to shows, fostered a Rescue for awhile & have become active working members in the BTCNE. Cindy currently sits on the Board of Directors. Currently, we are looking forward to the upcoming Specialties.
